Selling online is way more than a simple process of uploading your images and opening your store. A good quality platform that is easy to navigate and simple for you and your staff to use is the basis of a great online sales system.


Built with SEO in mind, with quick and simple product additions, good shipping and taxes integration, our E-Commerce websites can help your get your products in front of the right clients. An online store is more than simply opening a shop, however we do the initial design, shop setup and product upload for you so you are starting from the best possible point. After training and some education you are all set to manage your own store, process your orders and start building your business.

eCommerce Website Design

An online store is difficult to have released in a shorter timeframe than the usual 6-8 weeks.  However it is not impossible to do it quicker. If you have all of your product's information and images ready to go we could possibly reduce this time to 4 weeks.

YOUR INVOLVEMENT:


Along with the commitment that comes with developing your website (shown above), you will also need to provide your product info and images, shipping information, legal statements & return policies.

Images in particular are very important for an online store and I always recommend that you engage the services of a professional photographer to make sure that your website has both consistency and continuity throughout. I do offer this service for non-clothing related products so I can help you there if need be. 

My pricelist has product photography pricing however it is not included in an online store by default.  It would be an extra if you required it and all products must be delivered to my location for photography at your expense. I do not do model photography for clothing. 

ONGOING COSTS:

There is an ongoing monthly cost for website hosting. This fee covers my platform hosting your website files, ongoing upgrades, security and the website editor. Online Stores have 3 levels of hosting as listed below:

Standard Store -  has a monthly fee of $70 + gst (100 product limit)

Advanced Store - has a monthly fee of $90 + gst

  • 2500 products, store management app, auto tax calcs, eBay and Amazon selling, Google shopping feeds, multi-lingual option, stock control for options, digital products, recover abandonded carts


Unlimited Store - has a monthly fee of $130 + gst

  • Everything in the advanced store + unlimited products, Square POS

  • Payment system integration (typically Stripe or Paypal which you will be responsible for setting up yourself
  • Freight/Shipping setup (you will have to advise what shipping you would like to use and set up any account with that provider yourself)

Any timeframe quoted is dependent on all your website assets (images, content, product pics etc) being supplied at or prior to the start of the project. While I do my best to offer you the utmost support during the process, not having your content together could result in me having to move on to other bookings and will delay your website launch.

  • A dedicated login to your website editor which is mostly simple drag and drop
  • Home & Inner Page Design (the inner page can be duplicated in the future for all your extra pages)
  • Addition of 5 pages (usually home, about, services, contact, and another sub page)
  • Blog Page Design & Setup
  • Upload of your content for up to 5 pages
  • Terms of Use, Privacy and GDRP legal statements for your website (I supply standardised wording for these templates which you will have to agree to or alternatively supply your own).
  • Google Analytics and Tag Manager setup (if not already setup)

MORE INFO:

Any time frame quoted is dependent on all your website assets (images, content, product pics etc) being supplied at or prior to the start of the project. While I do my best to offer you the utmost support during the process, not having your content together could result in me having to move on to other bookings and will delay your website launch.  It will also lead to a $500 rebooking fee.

Dedicated Time Slot

When you decide to go ahead with your website build, we decide on a specific time slot that suits us both. This gives you time to get your content together and be ready to go when your time slot arrives.

This is where the magic happens. Every single website I build is designed with that business and client base in mind. From a travel blog, to an information based website to an online store, each website has a unique design.

While a great website is not a guarantee of traffic, building your website with SEO (search engine optimisation) included from scratch gives you a great base for building your client base and gives you an idea of how to proceed

Indepth Research

Once we have talked and you are happy to proceed, I forward you a very indepth questionaire designed to collect all the info I need about your business. This helps me to build and design the best website for your business.

Content Tools

Content is the term we use to describe all the text and images that appear on your website. I have some great tools at my disposal to make it as easy as possible to collect this information from you and your team.

Mobile First

To acheive the best outcome for any device, I build a responsive design AND a dedicated mobile version of your website. Google has a "mobile first" priority, so it is important that your website is technically developed for mobile.

Platform Training

I use an excellent platform to build my client websites. It is very simple to use and makes it so easy for you or a team member to maintain and update your website. I give you or your team training on the platform and then links to heaps of helpful videos.

Integrated Analytics

Tracking visitor use of your website is essential to make the most of your content and be sure you are giving your prospective clients the best experience. Google Analytics integration is included standard on all websites I build.

Custom 404 Page

A 404 page is what your visitors will see if they accidently type in the wrong URL. It's also what is shown if you accidently rename a page without redirecting it. A 404 custom page will reflect your web personality and can give you another chance to secure traffic.

2 Hour Handover

Even though we will have spent probably around 4 weeks communicating at this point, once your website is ready for hand over we will spend another 2 hours doing handover. All the "how-to's" are covered and questions answered here. 

Extensive Testing

Prior to handover, your website is tested across browsers, platforms and devices. While phones are ever evolving this ensures that we meet all the current device standards and places us in a good place for future updates.

Ongoing Support

While you will be responsible for updates on your website, I'm always here for extra help and for anything you might need. I do encourage clients to maintain their own website I'm always more than happy to help you with any challenges you might have.
